                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 2200
                   BLOCKS OF OAK STREET AND VINE STREET, AND THE
                   100 BLOCKS OF NORTH KELLEY STREET AND NORTH
                   LYERLY STREET, FROM R-2 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO R-4
                   SPECIAL ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located in the 2200 blocks of Oak
                Street and Vine Street, and the 100 blocks of North
                Kelley Street and North Lyerly Street. Lots 9-13,
                block 1, lots 4-16 and the north 90 feet of lots
                1-3, block 2, Henderson's Addition to Orchard Knob,
                as shown by plat of record in deed book X, volume
                6, page 181, ROHC; being the properties described
                in deed book 4333, page 504, deed book 4343, page
                558, deed book 4375, page 912, deed book 4020, page
                887, deed book 4003, page 186, deed book 4169, page
                993, deed book 4170, page 31, deed book 3991, page
                116, deed book 3974, page 926, deed book 3944, page
                698, deed book 3870, page 503, deed book 4393, page
                917, deed book 4170, page 28, deed book 4452, page
                108, deed book 4435, page 260, and deed book 4439,

                page 983, all in the Register's Office of Hamilton
                County.  Tax Map No. 146K-M-1, 4, 5, 11, 13, 14,
                15, 25, and 26.
               
               
         from R-2 Residential Zone to R-4 Special Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   No access from Kelley Street;
        
              2.   A landscaped screen along all property lines facing 
or
                   abutting a residential zone; (See attached standards)
        
              3.   Building location to be shown on attached site plan;
        
              4.   All sidewalks to be retained or replaces; and	  
        
              5.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
